What's New in Salesably - January 2026

January was about making Salesably sharper where it matters: practice that feels real, Deal Clinic reports that are easier to act on, and Prep5 research that gets reps ready faster.
Practice Studios: buyers that push back
Practice only works when the buyer feels real. In January, Practice Studios got better at adapting to what reps actually say.
AI buyers now stay in character more reliably, respond with more natural pushback, and make weak answers harder to hide from. That is the point. Reps do not need another script to memorize. They need reps under pressure until the right move becomes reflex.
We also made buyer attitude optional. Not every scenario needs a hostile buyer. A warm follow-up, pricing review, or check-in should feel different from a tough competitive call.
Other practice improvements:
- Faster practice responses
- Cleaner studio switching
- More consistent rubric and assignment views
- Fixes for microphone startup issues in voice sessions
Deal Clinic: clearer deal diagnosis
Deal Clinic got easier for managers to use after a call.
Managers can add notes to Deal Diagnostic Readouts, including by voice, so the report can reflect what they heard in a pipeline review or coaching conversation. We also added support for event conversations, because a trade show follow-up is not the same thing as a cold call.
Readouts are easier to scan now too. Collapsible sections, clearer update dates, cleaner red flags, and better score breakdowns make it faster to see what changed and what needs attention.
Learning Paths: better progress signals
Learning Paths got a cleanup pass so reps and managers can trust what they see.
Markdown renders properly in section descriptions, overdue assignments are tracked more consistently, notes have more room, and multiple-choice tests can show correct answers after completion.
That last part matters. A score by itself does not build fluency. Feedback does.
Assignments and reporting
Managers got small but useful fixes across assignment lists and reports.
Search works better, incomplete assignment emails are cleaner, and some edge cases around Deal Diagnostic Readouts were fixed. None of that is flashy. All of it reduces the friction between seeing a gap and coaching it.
Prep5: research with less busywork
Prep5 moved the AI research agent closer to the center of the workflow.
Reps can see what the agent is doing, get more useful prospect research, and prepare against the actual offer and persona instead of starting from a blank page. Dark mode also got a polish pass for the people doing prep after everyone else has gone home.
January moved the suite in the right direction: prepare faster, practice harder, and diagnose deals with less guesswork.
