What's New in Salesably - January 2026

January was a big month for Salesably. We shipped a ton of improvements across Practice Studios, Deal Clinic, and the overall platform. Here's what changed and why it matters for your team.
Practice Studios: Your AI Buyer Got Smarter
The biggest change you'll notice: practice conversations feel more real now.
We completely reworked how our AI buyer responds during practice sessions. Previous versions could feel robotic or too scripted. The new buyer adapts to what you say, pushes back naturally, and stays in character throughout the conversation. It picks up on weak responses and presses harder, just like a real buyer would.
Buyer attitude is now fully optional. Some scenarios don't need a hostile buyer. If you're practicing a warm intro or a follow-up call, you can leave the attitude setting blank and the buyer will respond naturally based on the scenario context.
We also switched the default AI model for practice conversations to improve speed without sacrificing quality. Sessions start faster and responses come quicker, so you spend more time practicing and less time waiting.
Other Practice Studio improvements:
- Studio switching now redirects to the correct URL instead of showing stale content
- Rubric tabs are now consistent with roleplay assignment tabs for a cleaner look
- Fixed a microphone initialization bug that some users hit when starting voice sessions
Deal Clinic: Deeper Diagnosis, Manager Notes, and a New Call Stage
Deal Clinic got some serious upgrades this month.
Manager's Notes with voice dictation. Managers can now add their own notes to COG (Capabilities, Opportunities, Gaps) reports. Even better, you can dictate notes by voice instead of typing. Quick observations after a pipeline review? Just talk.
New "Event Conversation" call stage. Deal Diagnostic Readouts now recognize event-based conversations as a distinct stage. If your rep met a prospect at a conference or trade show, the analysis accounts for that different dynamic instead of treating every conversation like a cold call.
Conversation Analysis is smarter about context. We fixed an issue where every analyzed call was treated like a pure sales call. The system now adapts its evaluation based on the actual type of conversation, whether it's a discovery call, a follow-up, a demo, or a casual check-in.
Other Deal Clinic improvements:
- Collapsible sections in Deal Diagnostic Readouts make long reports easier to scan
- Last updated date now shows on the readouts list
- Cleaner UI for negative indicators (subtle red flag icon instead of a loud "NEGATIVE" badge)
- Score breakdown bars now properly show missed criteria
Learning Paths: Better Content, Better Tracking
- Markdown now renders properly in learning path section descriptions, so your custom content looks the way you intended
- Overdue assignment tracking is now consistent across all cards
- Notes sections got more room to breathe with increased max-height
- Multiple choice tests now show correct answers after completion, so reps learn from mistakes instead of just getting a score
Assignments and Reporting
- The Incomplete Assignments Report email now formats the type column correctly
- Search works on the name fields in assignment lists, so managers can quickly find specific reps
- Fixed an issue where some deal readouts weren't displaying correctly for certain users
Under the Hood
- Updated the AI voice (ElevenLabs) for better pronunciation and natural flow
- Analytics tracking improvements across the platform
- Scripts now explicitly reference your specific product and solution context
- Faster resource uploads with better error handling
- Password management improvements in Settings (change/update password flow)
- Fixed Google OAuth redirect for smoother login
Prep5: Agent-First Research
Over on the Prep5 side, we shipped a major architecture shift. The AI research agent is now front and center, not tucked away in a sidebar.
The agent is smarter about which tools to use, shows friendly tool names while it works (so you know what it's doing), and better understands your specific offers and personas when researching prospects. Dark mode also got a full polish pass for late-night research sessions.
That's January. A lot of this work came directly from feedback we heard from trainers and their teams. Keep it coming. If something feels off or you have an idea, reach out.
