The best AI sales roleplay tools in 2026

The best AI sales roleplay tool depends on the job. Hyperbound is strongest for high-volume cold-call practice. Second Nature and PitchMonster cover the most languages. Yoodli is best for delivery coaching. Kendo publishes its per-seat prices. Mindtickle fits enterprises that want one enablement suite. Quantified is built for life sciences. Salesably is for teams that want one rubric across practice, virtual calls, and in-person meetings.

We make Salesably, so read our first pick with that in mind. Every competitor fact below comes from the vendor's own site or a named source, checked in September 2026. Where another tool is the better buy, we say so. Spot something out of date? Email support@salesably.ai.

How we judged them

Does the buyer fight back?

A bot that folds at the first objection teaches reps to expect easy buyers.

Whose standard is it scoring?

SPIN and BANT templates are a start. Your own methodology is the point.

Does it check the real call?

Practice proves a rep can do it. Only the real call shows they did.

How fast is the first useful session?

Minutes, days, or a rollout project. It changes who actually uses it.

Can you see a price before the demo?

Two tools on this list publish prices. The rest quote by team size.

Why we weight the real call so heavily

A roleplay score tells you a rep handled an AI buyer on Tuesday. It says nothing about what happened with the CFO on Thursday. So the question we weight most is whether a tool scores the real call against the same standard the rep practiced.

Several do now. PitchMonster, Kendo, and Hyperbound all score real calls, often on a higher plan, and Yoodli does it on Enterprise accounts that record in Gong. The differences are in the details: whether it is included or an upgrade, whether it covers in-person meetings, and whether a gap on a real call turns into the next practice assignment on its own. Practice proves capability. Real calls prove transfer. If you only need reps to get more repetitions in, weight realism and price instead and the order changes.

The tools, one by one

01

Salesably

Best for: Sales leaders and trainers who need one standard across practice and real calls

Salesably turns your methodology into a scoring rubric. Reps practice against AI buyers in Practice Studios, and a rep with a meeting in an hour can type the scenario and rehearse it live in under a minute. Teams go from playbook to a live Practice Studio in about 30 minutes.

Where it goes further: Sabine, the AI sales execution agent, joins Zoom, Teams, or Meet calls (or reads uploaded recordings) and scores them on the same rubric reps practiced against. Salesably Recorder captures in-person meetings from a phone, and Deal Clinic reads a transcript and returns risks and next steps. A gap found on a real call becomes the next practice assignment.

Watch for: No simulated auto-dialer or leaderboards for high-volume SDR floors. No content library or digital sales rooms. No free tier for individuals. The scores are only as good as the standard you define, so expect to spend real time on the rubric.

Pricing: Custom quote based on team size, workflows, and rollout scope.

02

Hyperbound

Best for: High-volume SDR and BDR teams drilling cold, warm, and discovery calls

Hyperbound built its name on AI cold-call roleplay and is strongest on cold, warm, and discovery drills. For SDR floors it adds a simulated auto-dialer, leaderboards, and competitions.

It now sells three products: Hyperbound Practice for roleplay, Hyperbound Perform for call recording and real-call scoring, and Kota Activate for AI agents.

Watch for: Real-call scoring, the auto-dialer, and gamification sit on the Custom plan, which needs a demo. Hyperbound’s own FAQ puts the first bot at under 10 minutes and full setup of personas and real-call scoring at about two weeks.

Pricing: Free tier. Custom plan by quote, with no dollar figures published.

03

Second Nature

Best for: Large programs that need roleplay in many languages

Second Nature is one of the longest-running AI roleplay tools. It supports roleplay in more than 30 languages, ships templates for SPIN, MEDDPICC, and BANT, and builds scenarios from uploaded content or a plain-language description.

Since its 2025 Series B it also covers customer service, HR, and call center simulations alongside sales.

Watch for: Its public materials describe feedback on simulated sessions, not scoring of real customer calls. Scoring against your own methodology, rather than a template, is a recurring gap in review research.

Pricing: Not published. Quotes need a sales conversation.

04

Mindtickle

Best for: Large revenue organizations buying one enablement suite

Mindtickle bundles content management, digital sales rooms, certifications, conversation intelligence, and an AI Role Play Simulator. In April 2026 it repositioned the suite as ElevateOS.

If you need formal certification tracking and a content system in the same contract, it covers more ground than anything else on this list.

Watch for: Roleplay is one feature inside a large suite, and roleplay and conversation intelligence are separate products. Third-party sources report multi-week implementations with professional services.

Pricing: Not published. Vendr procurement data reports a median contract of $44,054 a year, ranging from about $11K to $139K.

05

Yoodli

Best for: Delivery coaching, and individuals who want to start free

Yoodli started as a personal speech coach and grew into an enterprise AI roleplay tool for pitch certification. It is very good at delivery: pacing, filler words, clarity.

Enterprise accounts that connect Gong get real calls scored against the same rubrics used in practice, plus follow-up roleplays built from those calls. Without Gong, reps can upload recordings for feedback. The Sandler AI Roleplay Coach runs on Yoodli, which says something about how seriously training firms take it.

Watch for: Feedback leans toward how something was said more than which sales steps happened, so test how its rubric scoring handles your methodology before you commit.

Pricing: Individual plans at free, $8, and $20 a month, billed annually. Team and Enterprise by quote.

06

PitchMonster

Best for: Global teams practicing in local languages, and candidate screening

PitchMonster runs AI roleplays in 29 languages across phone, face-to-face, and screen-share modes. After each session its AI Coach runs a question-led debrief instead of only handing over a score.

It scores uploaded real calls on the same scorecard as the roleplays, so managers can see the drift between practice and live calls. It also connects to Salesforce and Gong to build roleplays from live deal data, and some teams use it to score sales candidates before making an offer.

Watch for: Call analysis and the AI Coach sit in the higher of its two plans. Standard contracts run 12 months, with 3- and 6-month options.

Pricing: Per-seat annual licensing by quote, with volume discounts.

07

Kendo

Best for: Smaller teams that want to see the price before talking to sales

Kendo pairs AI roleplay with automated review of every call, custom scorecards, and training assigned from the gaps it finds.

It is one of the few tools here with prices on the website, which makes a first trial easy to justify.

Watch for: Plans are metered. The $55 seat includes 180 minutes of roleplay and 25 hours of live call scoring a month, pooled across the team, so check the limits against how much your reps will practice.

Pricing: Free trial tier, then $55 or $100 per seat a month. Enterprise by quote.

08

Quantified

Best for: Pharma, biotech, and other regulated sales teams

Quantified has narrowed its focus to life sciences. It combines AI roleplay for high-stakes conversations with healthcare professionals, pre- and post-call coaching, and live-call feedback.

Its governance layer is built to keep messaging on-label and audit-ready, which matters a lot in pharma and very little anywhere else.

Watch for: Built for regulated commercial teams. Outside life sciences, most of what sets it apart does not apply.

Pricing: Not published.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is AI sales roleplay?

AI sales roleplay is software that lets reps practice sales conversations with an AI buyer. The AI plays a prospect with a persona and objections, the rep talks the call through by voice, and the tool scores the attempt and gives feedback before the rep tries it with a real customer.

What is the best AI sales roleplay tool in 2026?

It depends on the job. Hyperbound is strongest for high-volume cold-call practice. Second Nature and PitchMonster cover the most languages. Yoodli is best for delivery coaching. Kendo publishes per-seat prices. Mindtickle suits enterprises buying a full enablement suite. Quantified is built for life sciences. Salesably is for teams that want one rubric across practice, virtual calls, and in-person meetings.

Does AI roleplay improve sales performance?

Only if the practiced behavior shows up on real calls. A roleplay score shows a rep can do something against an AI buyer. To know whether performance changed, score real calls against the same standard and compare. That is why this comparison weights real-call scoring heavily.

How much does AI sales roleplay software cost?

Kendo publishes $55 and $100 per seat a month. Yoodli individual plans run from free to $20 a month. Salesably, Hyperbound, Second Nature, PitchMonster, Mindtickle, and Quantified quote by team size. Vendr procurement data puts the median Mindtickle contract at about $44,000 a year.

Can AI roleplay use our own sales methodology?

Most tools on this list support custom scorecards, and several, including Salesably, PitchMonster, Kendo, Hyperbound, and Yoodli (through Gong, on Enterprise), also apply them to real calls. In Salesably, the rubric reps practice against is the one Sabine uses on their live calls and in-person meetings, and a gap found on a real call becomes the next practice assignment.
